Pricing the Environment
In a world where money talks and everything else listens we are increasingly forced to put a price on the priceless in order to save it, however arbitrary those costs may be. A recent report from UNEP has recently valued coral reefs....

Good post, but don't you think that by valuing these coral reefs, they can be protected more effectively? Also, if cost-benefit analysis was not done by the UNEP, what should they be doing? Multi-crieria analysis?

Valuing the enviroment is ridiculous you can't quantify what doesn't posses this quality. It's a very muddy theme.
