$3.66/gal in Hawaii
My friend is on her honeymoon in Hawaii and she snapped this pic - she says it's $3.66/gal - for regular unleaded.My question - will this gas price spike of late cause a little inflation? (at least in the U.S.?)

The Australian Reserve Bank thinks so - they raised interest rates yesterday.
But it cuts a bit both ways - people tend to cut back on other purchases when gas prices rise (to support their driving habit) so that has a disinflationary effect.
