Earth Week at Prospect Park

It's Earth Week at Prospect Park in Brooklyn this week. Community gardening, nature walks and more. Plus, each day from 12p-5p at the Audubon Center will feature films, guest speakers and kids activities (although no schedule posted on line just yet.) Check it out if you're out this way.

  • Thanks for the heads up. Prospect Park is my favorite city park. I'll be there tomorrow for a picnic on my way to the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens. I used to live in Park Slope (a neighborhood in Brooklyn for you out of towners) and visited the park almost every day. It's half the size of Central Park, but with far fewer visitors. Now i live in Manhattan, spending most of my park time at Carl Schurz.
